Export data

Export data from a stream or report to share with others or use in processes outside of Archipelago.

To share data with others, you can also send them a link to the stream.

Export Archipelago data for Excel

  1. Navigate to the stream you want to export data for.
  2. In the View data as of... drop-down menu, specify the date you want to view data for
  3. At the end of the row, click Export.
  4. Choose the export option that suits your needs:
    • Archipelago data > XLSX—Export all property data as of the date you specified. You can choose to export this data as Archipelago data, which is what you see on the platform, or as other data types such as RMS and AIR.
    • Loss Data > XLSX—Export only data related to losses your properties have experienced as of the date you specified.

A download of the export you choose will automatically begin.

Export Archipelago data as RMS or AIR data

Export Archipelago data in an RMS or AIR format to help with catastrophe modeling. Archipelago uses its own data schema to define and process your data. When you choose this export option, Archipelago provides a .csv file that maps your Archipelago data to the RMS or AIR schema for optimized catastrophe modeling. You can export data to these formats on demand to create a high-quality input data set for catastrophe modeling.

  1. Navigate to the stream you want to export data for.
  2. In the View data as of... drop-down menu, specify the date you want to export data for
  3. At the end of the row, click Export > RMS or Export > AIR.

A download of the export you choose will automatically begin.

Export reports as a PDF

To export reports, you need a Risk Manager role.

  1. Navigate to the report you want to export.
  2. Press Ctrl+P or ⌘+P on your keyboard.
  3. If you're using Chrome, expand More settings in the print dialog and check Background graphics.
  4. Click Print.
